MULTI CULTURAL ARTISTIC COMMUNITY AND STUDY 
A group of international artists were selected for The HomeBase Project to participate in three weeks of work and ‘study dinners’, featuring lectures about the history of the space and the exploration of personal heritage.
SITE SPECIFIC INSTALLATIONS 
The Artistic community creates works which correlate to to the space and theme. Once the project is over, the works are dismantled, and the space returns to its original function.
EVENTS 
The project engages the public through a full schedule of art salons, workshops, performances, parties and through the Letters Home component.
EDUCATION 
HomeBase workshops, art tours, and lectures, which are open to youth and the general public are an educational tool. They reflect on themes of identity, memory, urban living and home through art, and aim to promote cross cultural dialog and a deeper understanding of the other.
LETTERS HOME 
The artists are asked to write a text titled “A Letter Home.” This text accompanies their work and is placed in the rooms and on the website. This text replaces the standard curatorial text and allows a direct and personal correspondence with the idea of Home, Letters Home are a tool for direct communication between the artist and the public. The public is invited to write a letter Home in the communal area of the project or submit Letters on-line. Selected Letter’s Home are featured on the project’s website and published in the book.
DOCUMENTATION 
The creative process of the artists, group dynamic, interaction with public, and installations are documented via photographs, recordings, and film, and incorporated into the HomeBase website, HomeBase book and documentary film. These forms of documentation aim to promote the arts, and deepen cross-cultural dialog and artistic appreciation.
