VOLTA NY presents a conversation on a new model of Public Art - The HomeBase Project, presented by Adi Ezroni, Project Director, and Leor Grady, Director of Curatorial and Programming. The Panel will be introduced by Christian Viveros Faune. HomeBase Project was founded by Artist and Curator Anat Litwin in 2006.
The HomeBase Project is an exciting international, artist run, site specific public art project exploring notions of "Home."
This year, HomeBase IV NY / Spring 2009, a unique group of 18 international artists will be creating site specific work in an incredible urban space in the heart of the Financial District. The project will then open, free to the public, for a month and will become a home to a vibrant community creating a multi cultural experience through art talks, lectures, educational workshops, performances, dance, parties and more.
